    About the Club

  • The Memphis Belle's Rock'n'Roll Club has long been associated with the Mytchett Centre and has been known as the Mytchett Rock'n'Roll club. In January 2008 the club moved to a new venue on Saturdays at the Bisley Village Hall. Unfortunately after only three gig's the club has been forced to move again, this time to The West Farnborough Social Club, however it retains the same brilliant format, regular DJ's for a great mix of Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll with Jive and Swing from the 50's featured throughout the evening. Each month presenting a live Rock'n'Roll band and feature DJ's are invited from time to time.

  • During the evening visit our regular sponsor stands;
    M.J.S. Toys & Collectables, otherwise known as "Betty Boop Collectables"
    Dare 2 Rock CD and Vinyl stall
    with guest stalls on a monthly basis.

    Origins

  • In Sept 2000, Mick Jeffery of the Rocker's Coast Riders opened a rock'n'roll club at The Mytchett Centre and donated the profits from the club to a nominated charity each year. This club became known as the "Mytchett Rock'n'Roll Club".

  • In 2006 a committee of dedicated rock'n'roll music lover's formed the "Memphis Belle's Rock'n'Roll Club" and continued the club at the "Mytchett Centre" to help prevent the club's closure, which would have been a sad loss for Rock'n'Roll fans in Surrey and surrounding areas.

  • The current members of the "Memphis Belle's Rock'n'Roll Club" committee are; Rod Type (chairman); Dawn (Treasurer); Kerry (Secretary;Organiser) Steve (Advertising) and Mike (Raffle; Sponsors).

  • Now in 2008 the club is moving to Saturday nights at a new venue, we hope more people will be able to come and enjoy the great atmosphere and music of our Dj's and live bands.
